The Gist: Five highschool students of a 'delinquent-run school' are relocated to Jungsang High, a school that's so much more luxurious than the closing-down school for delinquents. Still playing in a popular, now-you-can't-hear-us-play-anymore, underground band, Eye Candy, the five members become rivals with Jungsang's Strawberry Fields. These bands have picked fights- of music and violence (the drama has mild gore).
A cast of fresh faces, whose MC composition hones suitability, Shut Up ! Flower Boy Band relays teenage delinquency , along with the passionate pastimes partaken during those good ol' years. The script throes in frequent idioms and each line contributed perfectly for each characterization. An aesthetic that cannot be avoided is hair, behavioral habits, and more often-than-not, miscommunication. (Don't keep it to yourself.. )
Characters. The interactions and fateful encounters a.. are they held accountable for the ungrateful consequences of retaliation that came to be? Reality kills, as the Eye Candy boys cannot control.
As the viewer, surely, there must've been a character or two that you wishedidn't exist in the series.
Again, it ties to the oncoming encounters. As for casting, does South Korea have it worse than the States when it comes to casting 20yearolds as teenagers in film?
Couldnt help but think of Eye Candy's muse, Soon Ah,
Plot development is shaky, bu the ending completes the philosophy that "everything works out in the end." It's not a perfect happy ending g ( which is anticipated, humbly) , but the relationships formed (between the band or the latter) did notget to set as needed.
