Ikeuchi Aya is a normal 15-year-old student. Optimistic and passionate about her life, she learns that she has spinocellubellar degeneration, a disease that will make her unable to walk, chew, talk, live like a normal being. And the disease has no known cure.

I read the diary of Aya Shioka before watching the adaptations. The diary is a great refresher about the top priority of life: to live it. I myself have written in a few diaries for several years, but I never wrote about my inner feelings; it was all about my dreams, desires, drawings, and my day. Aya writes about an array of topics: people in her life, her own observations about her environment, her desires, and most strikingly, her struggles.
  I hate fictitious diaries (I guess an exception to Dear America or of the sort). I enjoyed The Princess Diaries films, but not the Cabot books. I was captivated by Aya's uplifting spirit- her will to enjoy life more than she ever has. To hear a story from someone who has who-knows-how-many-years left, there sparks a bit of hope for humanity. I've been thinking about what is truly important in one's life- to leave a legacy, be a role model, fame, recognition, youth, beauty?

       The show may not shine a light on Aya, but the show appreciates loving families. Aya Ikeuchi's family came to terms and supported Aya until ******************. I have to say that I applaud and resonate with her younger sister, Ako. "I wish I was sick so that [the family] would pay more attention to me like Aya"- sometimes there are days where I want to have the flu again or something. Staying in bed and my parents, especially my mom, remedying me, telling me where to vomit. 

     Alongside the theme of family and devotion, the parents are realistic displays of parenting a handicapped child. They're not cynical at all, but their acceptance pushes the importance of appropriate rebuffs. Ever see those mums who turn down their daughter's fiance without even inviting him to dinner.

Tears shed vary from viewer to viewer. 1 Litre of Tears was a bit of an exaggeration for me. The characters are extremely likeable, but the pacing and like a movie, only a couple details from the original diary, 1 Litre of Tears is like crying itself - it takes too much time.

I Love My Younger Sister : Anime Movie-OVA

Hello! Another late night one.. yay! I've been saving this day just for this. This is, luckily, not a hentai!  If you wanna watch a nice little love story with some intimacy, this should be a hit or miss. It received mixed reactions by the viewers.

So, Yori -- is a high school student who has a [fraternal]twin sister, Iku, whom he bottles his feelings toward. (sorry about grammar) He decides to do whatever he can to get her out of his mind such as forcing himself to fall in love and transferring to another school in a distant prefecture (region of a country) 

This movie was a recommended video when I was scrolling around YouTube . I was a little resistant because I thought this would have some hentai in it.. Well, -spoiler- once Yori decides to 'fess up his feelings to Iku, he tells her "Kiss me if you'll be mine rather than some other guy's." I know , jealous much? 

Aww.. this guy sure knows how to woo girls. But this guy seems to be a pretty cold bodyguard kind of guy. I mean, he put up a fight because some guy checked out Iku' s bra pattern! But he's got a soft spot and is quite protective about his relationships.

Right... as if incest isn't supposed to ever run in a family..

Another thing that anyone should be able to distinguish is the art. Iku' s hair is "long and soft," like many shoujo girls. And then Yori looks like he was drawn in the 90s or early 2000s. Well, this isn't "oldie art." The studio did add in some different styles such as below.

And some last notes: Iku, in my own opinion, she looks beautiful when she's sad.

Also, the movie was able to bring teary and moist eyes, but it's not that sad. There's no tragic backstory; I guess Yori was designed to be pitied on. I mean, now that is a life.
Ah, but what about the sex scene? (There's technically one) Well, it's a nice little slideshow

I liked the opening theme and the background music, but the rock -metal music at the end just broke the serenity. :/

Satoshi Tanoue, Ai Shinozaki (A Hole in My Panty)

··CAUTION: Nudity (well, almost)... this movie is not about the sex industry. 

I think that this movie is meant to remind us of our teenage selves. Particularly, guys and maybe some gals.. Those Days when all we needed was the girl of our dreams or the guy who will always be in your fantasies... and time.

Three guy friends have one thing in mind on how to spend their summer vacation: lose their virginity (in short, do 'it' or masturbate?) Well, they've got a clock ticking: their summer. So, they do everything from calling bathroom numbers, texts... even stealing a mannequin for unbuttoning shirts! Actually, I think before all of this, a bouncy , bright girl leaves from a man (who is her father) with them... Narumi, along with one of the boys' playboy uncle, give them tips for completing their goal. 

At first, I thought the hat would fly with the wind...
Maybe her hat's on pretty tight. 

This movie has used some issues pretty well ... like Narumi running away from her stepfather. I don't have any friends whose parents are divorced, so I am not sure if I can appropriately feel sympathy. But, sympathy is very easy to show for Narumi. I mean, her mom works and owns a bar where they live! (Sounds like a cool, hard worker to me)


Another issue is accepting the new [life/road]. Narumi doesn't seem to like the new family , maybe the playboy old uncle needs to make his mind about women, or a guy needs to watch his back when starting sex!

This lone poem seems to be great motivation for somebody.... who seems to be weaker than she seems. Well, in my eyes, at least. 

MY THOUGHTS:: 

It's seemingly basic and hopefully is a first movie. .. NOM. It's nice to have some known names and faces, but that will not cover all the weaknesses. The acting is like a seesaw -- the levels change from decent to wow to bland to what the hell?. The plot is interesting, but there is only so much going on. 

I think this was a confusing, looks-like-it-was-fun-to-film, and some funny bullsh.. It could be considered a time waster, but not in my book.

Grade: 6.3/10 : Lower than decent? 

You'll still have at least two questions after watching. ~~

Murder on the Orient Express: 1974 Film

First movie review! Yay! I watched the movie "Murder on the Orient Express" in parts in three days- past 10, of course. After all, it is a Detective Hercule Poirot movie. This movie has made me understand the book a bit more ~ and the ending was better ended with an addition.
