It's been a moderately [dreadful] week. Morning classes - riskiest business ever. I have maths in the morning, so 3-5 hours after I wake and step off the bus, I'm taking a test which I "devoutly" studied for. Karma's a bitch, cuz I lost at least 11 points for blank answer slots.
Anyway, tonight's reviews are Kampfer, an anime which might have had a manga, and Hana Yori Dango, the jdrama. A reread of the manga and maybe the anime would serve as motivation to touch onto 90s anime territory.

Pray for this anime series which was a fallout disaster.
A boy can transform into a big-breasted female equivalent, a teddy bear with his intestines visible, an ending that jumped double the M.C 's life span as the viewer knew it. The flawless animation couldn't put guns, weapons, or hentai faces up to par for the overall fragility of this twig tower.
From the pilot, it is very clear that the anime had jarred up some ideas, but fails to be consistent or even entertaining. Even if the anime was "not to be taken seriously," like some noted series that I can't seem to find, no one is to be grasping attention or even recognition.
Extremely one-dimensional characters (Natsuru is truly a girl lost in a boy's body)... better off as a mini hentai series, I swear.

So, maybe Maki's enrollment at the prestigious academy is questionable and out of the blue for this adaptation, but there is no denial to the romantic awkwardness (equals chemistry) between Maki and the heir to the Domyouji corporation. Japanese puns and guy teasing girl everywhere, HYD is going to have been seen by anybody and everybody all least 14 years of age.
True love has never been so affectionate.
